JOB DESCRIPTION

Eakes & Company CPAs is seeking a full-time CPA/Senior Accountant who wants a competitive salary, work/life balance, family friendly hours, a sensible tax season, and a great work environment.

This individual will be responsible for managing clients and providing tax, accounting, and business consulting services for a wide range of clients. We are a 26-year-old small full-service CPA firm located in the UTC area of San Diego. We serve a wide variety of business clients and high net worth individuals throughout San Diego.

EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledge of tax return preparation required for this position

- CPA license (or working towards CPA license) and a bachelor’s degree in accounting required

- Experience in public accounting a plus

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks

- Knowledge of Lacerte a plus

REQUIREMENTS:

· A candidate must be a motivated self-starter that is able to manage and provide service to multiple clients with minimal supervision and oversight

· Technical proficiency in accounting and the preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual returns

· Have interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability to simplify and communicate complex information

· Ability to meet challenging client requirements, deadlines, provide great customer service, be able to problem solve, and possess analytical and research abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
